In 1969, Renaté Goldoni, a young DST agent, infiltrates the Proletarian Left by getting close to Denis Mercier, a charismatic worker. His mission: to control and neutralize workers' radicalization; his dilemma: betraying the friendship he bought to police. When Mercier dies in an "accident", no one will say if it's an error, murder, or manipulation, and Goldoni discovers that mastering revolution means risking provoking it.
